This is a documentary film showcasing the exemplary model of the most reputed hospital in the South Asian region, the SIUT (Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation). Treating more than a million patients a year, this hospital provides specialized medical care to the people suffering from kidney, liver, related cancers, and provides ethical transplant procedures completely free of cost.
Set up 40 years ago, by Dr. Adib Hasan Rizvi in Karachi Pakistan, this hospital is a role-model institution of government and community partnership, and continues to grow year by year. With an average of 12 kidney transplants per week, the institute is one of the largest living donor transplant centers in the world, and with more than 750 dialysis sessions every day, it is amongst one of the largest dialysis centers in the world.
