“We are coming back to Japan to show JICA that the problems we told them about the last time still are not fixed. We want JICA and all of the companies to know that they need to follow the proper procedures. They need to know that they are not the only stakeholders. This project will not be a success without the community,” said Mya Hlaing, villager leader. "We are trying to engage with stakeholders but they look they don't accept for engagement. If they don't want to engage with us, we will oppose the project."
